WHITE-BANDED AUGER

Uncommon at any depth.  Hastula albula f. casta has obvious brown bands.  Shell slender with slightly inflated whorls, fine axial ribs becoming obsolete on the body whorl.  Attains 1.5 inch.  Similar to the endemic Hastula medipacifica.  Hawaii, Indo-Pacific, and Western Mexico.
