Fairly common on shallow reef flats with scattered sand pockets.  Unattached nodules with short irregular branches without sandy texture or raised septa.  Tan, brown or rarely pink.  Calices very small and slightly depressed with flowery appearance.  Hawaii to Micronesia & the Tropical Eastern Pacific.
