SPINY FLOWER CORAL
Uncommon on reefs and ledges. Typically
colonial, thick and fleshy, with coarse ribs, mottled gray, purple or
green. Similar to Scolymia cubensis. Tiny commensal
crabs were observed on the specimen above. Florida to Venezuela
& the Gulf of Mexico. |
