ROSE PYRAMID
| Uncommon under rocks or rubble at any depth. Stout, with a
bulbous protoconch, glossy purplish-red with 3-5 slightly inflated whorls
and curved axial ribs. Attains 0.1
inch, 2 mm. Cocos-Keeling to Okinawa, Micronesia, and Hawaii. Formerly
known as Odostomia patricia var. rosa. |
