SPOTTED PYRAMID
| Rare in sand deeper than 30 feet where it preys upon Acorn
worms. Most specimens tend to be dredged subfossils or
beachworn. Attains 2 inches, 50 mm. Red Sea to
Japan, Hawaii, and the Society Islands. Formerly known as
Pyramidella sulcata. |
