| Common in clusters under the sea
cucumber,
Holothura atra, in shallow water. Solid, with strongly
inflated whorls, apical whorls abruptly small. Attains 0.2 inch, 5 mm.
New Guinea to Hawaii and the Society Islands. Formerly known as
Mucronalia nitidula. |
