THAANUM'S EULIMID

Uncommon under stones or rubble.  Shell flexed to the right, semi-transparent, at least 9 convex whorls with spiral varices, suture impressed, outer lip arching forward.  Animal green or yellow.  Attains 1.5 inches, 38 mm.  East Africa to Japan, Hawaii, and French Polynesia.  Formerly known as Balcis thaanumi.
