Uncommon in rubble deeper than 30 feet.  Inflated, dorsal groove deeply impressed but crossed by ribs, which appear more parallel than other species.  Attains 0.5 inch, 12mm.  South Africa to Japan, Hawaii, and the Tuamotus.
