RASHLEIGH'S COWRY

Very rare on red sponge under rocks, in dead coral, and caverns at deeper than 50 feet.  Stout thick shell calloused on both sides.  Attains 1 inch.  Endemic to Hawaii.  Formerly known as Cypraea rashleighana.
