PONTOH'S PYGMY SEAHORSE

Found on Halimeda seaweed or hydroids along shaded vertical walls exposed to upwelling.  White or brown with red on back of head and neck.  Attains 2cm.  Sulawesi to Japan, Micronesia, and Fiji.
