GRANULAR TABLE CORAL

Common on protected reefs.  Forms small tables of upturned branches tipped with a few tubular axial corallites, short triangular radial corallites below.  Cream, brown, gray or bluish-purple.  Acropora paniculata has branch tips with many axial corallites.  Indo-Pacific.
