GROOVED TRIPHORID
Common under dead coral at any depth. Conic-elongate, three
equal spiral keels with smooth interspaces, brown marbled with lighter
& darker brown. Attains 8mm. The smaller Viriolopsis
fallax has axial threads in the interspaces. Hawaii,
Eastern Indian Ocean, Western Pacific. Formerly known as Viriola incisa. |
