 BLACK-MARGIN or BLACK-LIPPED HORN

Common on algal mat of shallow reefs and tidepools.  Stout, fairly smooth with blunt varices, pleated subsutural band.  Attains 3/8 inch.  Hawaii & the Indo-West Pacific.  Occurs with and similar to Cerithium egenum.
