SOLDIER CONE  

Locally common on reefs to 100 feet.  Alternating bands of cream and brown with black base and fine wavy brown lines.  Aperture is purple and white.  Attains 3 inches.  Animal greenish black.  Hawaii & the Indo-Pacific.
