CRENULATED AUGER

Common in shallow water including coarse sandy pockets.  Variable, gray to flesh, crenulations light or heavy.  Attains 6.1 inches, 154mm.  Red Sea to Hawaii, French Polynesia, and Clipperton.  Formerly known as Terebra crenulata.
