NARROW-LEAVED ALENA

Indigenous trailing herb of dry leeward coasts, cliffs & slopes.  Leaves narrow with ruffled margin, flowers borne on axillary cymes, slender spreading habit forming mats.  Synonyms include Boerhavia glabrata & Boerhavia diffusa.  Native to the Pacific islands.
