Fairly common liana or small shrub in dry to wet forests of the Main Hawaiian Islands.  Extremely variable in terms of leaf shape, texture, and arrangement.  Fragrant leaves & stem bark popular for lei-making.  Endemic to Hawaii.  Formerly known as Alyxia oliviformis.
