TWOSPOT WRASSE
A shy species locally common among dead
coral and rubble at scuba depths. Both
sexes appear dull grayish-brown at depth, caudal fin of male with an extended upper
lobe. Attains 4 inches. Red
Sea to Okinawa, Hawai'i, and French Polynesia. Formerly known as Cheilinus
bimaculatus. |
