YELLOWSIDE FAIRY WRASSE

Locally common along dropoffs with rubble and branching coral.  Yellow patch behind pectoral fin, females reddish purple above, white below, with black spots on upper caudal peduncle.  Attains 5 inches.  Central Indonesia to the Philippines and Japan.
