Occurs along dropoffs in lagoons and outer reefs.
Adults with blue pattern on head, yellow edged gill cover, juveniles nearly identical to
Macolor niger with broad
semi-translucent caudal fin tips. Attains 24 inches.
Central Indian Ocean to Okinawa, Micronesia, and Fiji. |
