ZEBRA LIONFISH

Locally common on rocky outcrops of silty inner reefs.  Fins with brown and white bands, spiny dorsal fin with banner-like tips, pectoral fin membranes nearly full length of rays.  Attains 8 inches.  Red Sea to Japan and Samoa, excluding Hawaii.
