SPINY PORCUPINEFISH    kōkala       Harisenbon

Fairly common on shallow reefs where it feeds upon shellfish.  Olive green with distinct brown blotches and a vertical bar through the eye, fins transparent yellow without spots.  Attains 15 inches.  Tropical and subtropical seas worldwide.
