RED-MARBLED LIZARDFISH

Rare among rubble at scuba depths.  Distinct red areas on cheek and top of head behind eyes, hourglass shaped bars grading to dark brown below.  Attains 4 inches.  Scattered records from East Australia to Ogasawara and Hawai‘i.
