LIZARDFISH
Rare among rubble deeper than 60 feet. Distinct red
areas on cheek and top of head behind eyes, hourglass shaped bars
grading to dark brown below. Easily confused with redheaded
Synodus binotatus. Attains 4 inches. Scattered
records from East Australia to Ogasawara and Hawai'i. |
