Looe Key, Florida, 20 feet

Common along reefs.  Blue dorsal stripe, lower lobe of caudal fin with silver leading edge, body can rapidly change from silver to brown.  Attains 29 inches, usually much less.  New Jersey to Brazil and the Gulf of Mexico.
