SAND SHRIMPGOBY

Inhabits burrows with the commensal shrimp Alpheus on silty sand and rubble.  Sparse diffuse brown spots and elongate central dashes, along with numerous blue spots, white streak on pectoral fin, cheek with few markings.  Attains 2.5 inches.  Red Sea to Okinawa, east to French Polynesia.
