Outer Reef, Sandy Beach, Oahu, 50 feet

Rare at scuba depths.  Dark brown with strongly curved jaws, large teeth and nostrils.  Quite shy when observed during rest.  Attains 5 feet.  Scattered locations from Mauritius to the Tropical Eastern Pacific.
