Locally common as aggregations sheltering among branching coral in murky lagoons.  Glassy with greenish iridescent gut lining, black spot on caudal peduncle, caudal fin with black tips, blue spots on and behind head.  Attains 2 inches.  Indonesia & Australia east to Japan and Samoa.
