PIANO FANGBLENNY
This blenny mimics cleaner wrasses and feeds by
darting at unwary fishes to nip off scales and skin. It is common
on shallow reefs with surge. Attains 4.75 inches.
Red Sea to Japan and French Polynesia. Replaced in Hawai'i by
the endemic P. goslinei. |
