ROUNDHEAD or MANGROVE BLENNY

Restricted to seaweed and mangroves roots in the shallows
of Kane'ohe Bay, Oahu. Decorated with numerous white chevrons. Unintentionally
released into the bay during a Giant Clam experiment in 1951.
Attains 2.5 inches. Native range from the Andaman Sea east to
Guam, Samoa and the Line Islands. Erroneously recorded from
Hawai'i as Omobranchus elongatus.
