SHORTBODIED BLENNY
Fairly common among live
coral at scuba depths. Feeds upon live coral tissue. Males,
which have red bodies, guard a patch of yellow eggs deposited on
recently grazed section of coral. Attains 6 inches. Red Sea
to Japan, Hawai'i, and French Polynesia. |
