BANDIT ANGELFISH

Rare in the main Hawaiian Islands but quite common in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.  Inhabits reefs & ledges in as little as 25 feet but normally deeper than 70 feet in the Main Hawaiian Islands.  Feeds upon sponge.  Attains 7 inches.  Endemic to Hawaii.  Formerly known as Desmoholacanthus arcuatus & Holacanthus arcuatus.
