Wakatobi, Indonesia, 25 feet

Common on shallow reefs and sandy areas.  Low-growing with irregular knobby branches, a few immersed  axial corallites at branch tips, round radial corallites, brown with white tips.  Formerly known as Acropora brueggmanni.  East Africa to the Western Pacific.
