STUBBY ACROPORA

Locally common on reefs.  Variable in form including bushes or plates with many short branchlets, corallites short and thick.  Light blue or brown with pale tips.  Acropora granulosa has longer axial corallites.  Indo-Pacific, Andaman Sea to Japan & Polynesia, excluding Hawaii.
