FINGER ACROPORA
Fairly
common on
shallow reefs exposed to moderate wave action. Circular colonies
of short vertical branches with small axial corallites and tubular radial corallites
of uniform size. Light brown, cream, or blue with pink branch
tips. Acropora samoensis
has curved irregular branches. Indo-Pacific excluding Hawaii.
