Leone, Tutuila, American Samoa, 20 feet

Locally common on shallow reefs exposed to wave action.  Solid horizontal plates, radial corallites exsert with thick collars, light brown.  Acropora palifera is structurally identical but grows vertically.  Indo-Pacific excluding Hawaii.
