LARGE GALAXEA

Locally common on protected reefs in shallow water.  Domed or columnar attaining several feet in diameter, oval calices up to 10mm in diameter (less than 5mm for Galaxea astreata), gray, brown, reddish or green with white-tips.  Indo-Pacific excluding Hawaii.
