VAUGHAN'S RAZOR CORAL
|
Uncommon on sand
or rubble in deeper water. Circular & dome-like with six prominent
ribs, bottom slightly convex at the center. Often has bright orange or green
fluorescent color. Juveniles are hexagonal. Attains 1.5 inches.
Easily confused with the larger Fungia
granulosa. Hawaii & the
Indo-Pacific. Juveniles were known as Cycloseris hexagonalis.
