KNOBBY FISH LEECH

This leech attaches to the gills of bony fishes and sucks blood from the host.  They leave the host to lay eggs on the seafloor before death, where divers have captured rare photos.  Blue-brown and warty with tapering ends.  The body has suckers at both ends.  Attains 2 inches.  Warm seas worldwide.
