BANDED GALAXAURA

Uncommon on reefs exposed to wave action.  Slightly calcified, reddish-orange branches 1mm in diameter with regularly-spaced rings of hair.  Hawaii & the Indo-Pacific.  Similar to the common Galaxaura rugosa.
