PEPPERED BUBBLE

Inhabits coralline rubble in tidepools.   Pale with tiny brown flecks, shell reduced to small dome on posterior end.  Attains 0.75 inch.  Formerly known as Phanerophthalmus cylindricus.  Tropical Pacific, including Hawai'i.
