SWOLLEN BUBBLE
Locally common in silty sand under rocks in shallow
water during winter. Usually found inhabited by a hermit
crab. Shell
coated with thin yellow periostracum. Shell attains 1 inch. Indo-Pacific,
including Hawai'i. |
