| Common under rocks or rubble in
shallow water. Ovate, opaque white, with visible whorls, a broad
parietal callus, aperture 2/3 of overall height, columella with 2 to 4
diagonal folds,
and outer lip folded inward with small denticles. Attains 0.1 inch, 2mm.
Mascarenes to Japan, Hawaii, and French Polynesia. Formerly known as
Granula sandwicensis. |
