PARTRIDGE TUN

Live animals are uncommon on shallow reefs at night.  Dead shells are commonly occupied by hermit crabs and sea anemones.  Attains 8.9 inches, 227 mm.  Red Sea to Hawaii and the Galapagos.  Replaced by Tonna maculosa in the Atlantic.
