PRETTY EAR SHELL

Common among encrusting red algae under rocks in shallow water.  Dark red or green with white splashes.  Attains 0.1 inch, 3 mm.  Red Sea to Japan, Hawaii, and the Tuamotus.  Formerly assigned to Family Stomatellidae.
