KNOBBY SNAIL
|
Uncommon under stones in shallow water. The aperture has a peg on
the lower columella, and the orange and green foot is visible beneath the
translucent operculum. Attains 1.2 inches, 30 mm. Red Sea to
Japan, Hawaii, and French Polynesia. Formerly known as Modulus
tectum.
