CANDID TURBAN

Uncommon among red algae under stones in shallow water.  Granules are present on the apical whorls and around the umbilicus, cream, sometimes with pink dots.  Attains 0.1 inch, 3 mm.  Seychelles and Hawaii.  Formerly known as Leptothyra candida.
