OCELLATED TOP
| Common under encrusting red algae
at any depth. The fragile red or brown shell has a white core,
variable patterns of white or brown, and the
columella has a prominent tooth. Attains 0.2 inch, 4 mm.
Occurs in Korea, Japan, and Hawaii. Formerly known as Thalotia
ocellata. |
