BEU'S TRITON
| Uncommon at deeper than 20 feet
under dead coral or rubble.
Color variable, stout and rugged sculpture. Long confused with the Ruby
Triton. Attains 2.4 inches, 60 mm. Endemic Hawaiian subspecies,
parent species occurs in the tropics worldwide. Formerly known
as Cymatium
occidentale. |
