DWARF TRITON
| Rare in sand or rubble deeper than 150 feet. Shell lightweight,
siphonal canal elongate, recurved, aperture white. Attains 1.6 inches,
40mm. Hawaii,
Indo-West Pacific, Tropical Western Atlantic. Erroneously reported
from Hawaii as Cymatium vespaceum. |
