COMMON DISTORSIO or ANAL TRITON

Uncommon under dead coral slabs or in sand pockets deeper than 30 feet.  Parietal shield (flat area surrounding aperture) splashed with brown.  Attains 4 inches, 100mm.  Red Sea to Japan, Hawaii, and the Tuamotus.
